TheFormula E calendarhas undergone several changes, initially an Italian stage was planned with the addition of an urban circuit in the heart of Rome. Unfortunately this stage was excluded from the calendar

The seventh stage of theFormula E calendarwill take place on the iconic street in Long Beach, California. The appointment is set for April 4, 2015. The announcement was made during a press conference in the presence of the mayor of Long Beach, Bob Foster, the managing director ofFormula EAlejandro Agag and the driver Lucas di Grassi. Electric mobility is already rooted enough in American culture, so much so that Mayor Bob Foster has been driving an electric car for years and locals say they are "thrilled" in anticipation of the event. The Long Beach competition, a few kilometers from Los Angeles, will take place on a track just 2.5 km long.
To minimize city inconvenience - given that most of the competitions will take place in circuits in the city center -, theFormula E calendarprovides for the closure of all competitions within a day: practice, qualifications and the race will take place in the same appointment. The race will last for one hour.
